Although density decreased drastically approximately 11 months under diurnal hypoxia strongly reducing conditions, small-sized new recruits observed recovered quickly after increased. C . inhabiting side lagoon contributed maintaining by dispersing planktonic larvae between them. Thus, had significant effect on maintenance sufficiently high levels enable dispersion help recover quickly, suggesting that it important keep area connected.
