چکیده
The population dynamics of the capitellid polychaete Capitella aff. teleta were studied in Gamo Lagoon, located northeast Japan, for subsequent 2 years from 2016, when a series restoration works was conducted following 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake and tsunami. found to be widely distributed estuary side, where levee located, innermost part but more abundant part, which is rich organic matter. In lagoon, daily maximum water level dropped 2017 2018 during reconstruction flow-conducting levee, blocked flow isolated inner lagoon. Although density decreased drastically approximately 11 months under diurnal hypoxia strongly reducing conditions, small-sized new recruits observed recovered quickly after increased. C . inhabiting side lagoon contributed maintaining by dispersing planktonic larvae between them. Thus, had significant effect on maintenance sufficiently high levels enable dispersion help recover quickly, suggesting that it important keep area connected.
